Offenburg..

I live in Offenburg. A small town with friendly people and where the bus comes only every 30 minutes. In big city, the bus or S-Bahn (like LRT, but they are on the road-Strasse) come every 7-13 minutes. I take the bus whenever i'm going to Kaufland, a shopping complex that is more like Giant in Malaysia. Other than that, i prefer walking. I walk to school everyday. I had a bike. But it was stolen on one Wednesday evening. I still remember the day because i had to walk to school on Thursday morning for Bussystem lecture. Now, i am used to walking. I don't do other exercises during the week, and walking is my only exercise. I take 15-20 mins from my house to the school. With the bike, i took only 10 mins to get to school. Takpe, jalan ni is a form of exercise.I can maintain my berat this way.lol.

Basketball is my favourite game. I know i am short, but it's the only game that i can play. Badminton - u need 2 person, bola jaring - err..tak leh main sorang jugak. My only problem is now 1. Weather- yes, it rains almost every weekend and 2. Tade court- right now they are building balai raya near the court that i used to play. Other courts a bit jauh but i can always borrow sape2 punya bike. Kena tunggu the weather lak.

My weekends : hmm..I love the Saturday's market. When i was living in my own room, i bought fresh flowers almost every weekend. Sampai org tu siap bg murah lagi each time i bought flowers from him.Hee hee. And the flowers are sooo beautiful. Bila dia dah kering pun, the color still ada lagi. Kalau kat malaysia, mostly i saw only brown-colored dried flowers. I buy fruits like apples, strawberries, pears and bananas as well. No place dah to put the flowers. Last week i bought pisang and buat pisang goreng for breakfast. Nyum nyum. Lama tak buat. Owh, sometimes there are some musicians also, some are playing guitar and some accordion. There was this one time, i saw a kid playing saxophone. He was indeed good. Sigh..I think i'll be missing my Saturday market bila dah abis belajar nanti.

There are no shops open on Sundays, except kedai2 makan. The only sound yg didengar whole day is the sound of bell church. Sundays are best for doing some housework like ironing, vacum bilik ke, things like that.

My time here is nearing the end. I want to make the most of now.

More work, No teacher and No souvenir

Yesterday i didn't take my usual evening nap. Too tired to do so. I slept at 12 midnite and woke up to a very tired body. I felt like i just got back from climbing or camping. Adehhh!! Went to work at 9.30 am (hee hee) and the mexican guy is back!! I was pretty excited actually but it wasn't for long. I was excited because i am no longer alone in this lab. It gets indeed boring when you are alone in a lab for weeks. After exchanging hellos, he went straight asking whether i have finished my task or not. Huh! Can he at least wait after i've settled down a bit? I just been there not more than 10 minutes. Souvenir pun tarak.

This week i can see some sprectrum lines on the oscilloscope with Carlos's (the mexican guy) help of course. But, we don't know which spectrum line to choose from. I couldn't find any spectrum line of HgCd- Lamp on the internet (If anyone knows, pls give me the link ok?). Maybe i've been googling with the wrong keyword. Dunno. Have to find somemore.

I barely can listen to my CD right now. Carlos had his laser on ALL day long. Bising. It's like you're sitting next to someone who is welding non-stop for about 5-6 hours. Ni la namanya kejutan telinga. Senyap utk 3 minggu and suddenly..Bzzzzzzzz..

The teacher is on holiday for 10 days. I am not sure whether he starts his holiday this week or the next. But he's not here for sure the next week. Grins. Maybe i can kayak next week. Yeay!!!

My friends are going to Rome and Pisa this coming Friday till Monday/Tuesday. I have been there with my best-friends. I do want to go there again someday, maybe with Cik Inn ke (if you dtg sini la. hee hee) I'll do my Apple-Fast while they are gone. I've got all the things that i needed except the apples. Will buy the apples on Wednesday or Thursday. If no apples, it's not going to be called "apple-fast" la.

Been missing my bestfriends and Apad. He's busy working during his holiday. And my friends are just busy working. Hopefully i can meet them this coming September.

**sakit mata dah pakai safety goggles for laser ni. have to keep it on as long as the laser is running. Sigh ...m(_ _)m

Weekend!!

Aaa..tired. Just got back from the lake. Not for swimming, but BBQ. Nyum nyum. I ate quite a lot, but have to stop early as i ate too much watermelon. We were sure very lucky for today is beautiful. The weather forecast said that it's going to rain. Well, it rained, but the rain stopped as early as 930. And the rest of the day was simply beautiful. Alhamdulillah.

Menu for our BBQ : Satay daging, Black Pepper Steak, Ayam Sari Masala (bukan nama sebenar), Ayam Tandoori, and Kambing perap-dengan-tatau-apa (bukan nama sebenar also). We had watermelon, bananas and apples. (i perap the Black Pepper Steak, nasib baik sedap. Boleh try lg masa kat Malaysia. Hee hee). Dlm gmbr they nampak almost the same, except for the Tandoori.

We planned to go at 11 am, sebab nnt nk solat pulak. Place pun tak confirm sbb takut hujan. Tunggu punya tunggu jadi la pukul 1230. Isk, tunggu guys siap ni, not the girls. And so, after the guys sampai our house, gerak sama2. We just walked there, sbb biasanya buat pun takde la jauh mana. Then after almost 25 mins of walking, we arrived at the place where we usually held our BBQ (this is the fourth dah time kot) . Sekali tgk tak ada org. Rupa-rupanya, the juniors pegi pasang BBQ set tu kat tempat lain. Kena jalan about 15 mins lagi. Aiya!! Dah lapar. Ingatkan nnt dah sampai api dah pasang and nyala tapi belum. Memang nak kena ni budak-budak ni, mentang-mentang tempat tu dekat dgn rumah diorg. At first we were all a bit mad, but once the daging2 sudah berbau sedap yang membuatkan perut menyanyi2, everything went quite well.

Daging lembu 3 kilo, ayam 4 ekor, daging kambing 1 kilo. Habis bakar everything in 1 hour and a half. Masa membakar was fun, there were laughters, borak-borak yang merepek and laughters some more. I was standing beside Lee. Dia borak-borak dgn junior and i felt like drops of water kena my face. "Dem!It's going to rain", i said to myself. It happened twice but when i looked at the sky, it was as bright as before. Immediately i know from where the drops of water were from - LEE. Serta merta stood tempat lain. Ergh!!

Ada some daging utk dinner mlm ni. Don't have to cook dah, just the rice.

Tomorrow the mexican guy is back. Hopefully he bought me some souvenir. Hee hee. Okay, going to take my bath. Baju ni bau daging BBQ lagi. Later!

Coti-coti

Hari ni cuti awam- Christi Himmelfahrt or Ascension of Jesus. Himmel is sky and Fahrt is journey, or ride (not english punya fahrt ok). I looked it up just to know why today is a holiday. Owh, and Friday i don't have to go to School/work. Hee hee. My teacher gave me a long weekend ( Thurs- Sun). Yeay!!

Woke up late today. Got a headache as i haven't wake up later than 9 lately. Still have a little bit of headache eventough now is 1.35 pm. The sky is grey, sign that it'll rain anytime today. Another cold weather after a beautiful sunny day yesterday.

Yesterday i got back my documentation on my student project. And the mistakes that i did were stupid which showed that i haven't really paying attention to what i've been doing. Bummer! Well, it is a lesson for me to PAY ATTENTION to what am i doing and PUT MY HEART into it. Lesson learned. I'm going to do some correction this week and hopefully i won't be repeating the same mistake.

Lapar already, just ate 2 pears for breakfast. They were sweet and juicy. Yummy yum. Will have laksa for lunch today. And will read the rest of Memoirs of a Geisha. After finished ready, only then i'll see the movie.

Aight, have to start with something else today. Ciao.

Finally

Finally, i saw the teacher. Nasib baik. Then, cikgu pegi makan, takkan nk ikut, instead i waited for him in the foyer. After about an hour, the teacher tak masuk2 balik building B. So i walked back to the cafe. As i was waiting, a small insect masuk mata. Dem. Kena keluarkan, if not mata merah je jumpa cikgu. So i went to the toilet in building A, as it is nearer to the cafe. Out from the toilet, i saw the teacher going up the stairs building A. Pulak dah..cikgu ni nk g mana. At first i just want to balik my lab, pack everything up and leave (evil plan), somehow my kaki pegi naik tangga tu pulak. Half way, i met the teacher. And he ask " Sie wollen zu mir?" (Translation :Nak jumpa saya?) and i said yes. And so, after i stalked him for about one hour, i managed to bring him back to the lab. Yeah!!

And finally, i got some work done. Hee hee. And have some more work to do.

Today is just like any other day

Today, I bring along my duster to this lab and have been doing some dusting around. Havent listen to the cd yet as my laptop merajuk and decided to be "mute". I restarted it a few times dah. Maybe it need some rest. I'll shut it down in a while and pegi makan and then try again.

My walk to school is the same as any other days. I take the same route everyday but, the things i see are different. Today i saw big trucks cleaning the road and the smell of "minyak tar" yg fresh, which was really strong. I had to cover my nose with something. Another 2 minutes of walking, my eyes saw green garden with roses; white roses with light pink at the petals edges, bright red roses, yellow roses, pink roses and even orange. The smell is wonderful. After the rose garden, is the park. I saw green again. There were workers planting flowers. The roses here haven't bloom just yet. I love this part of my daily walk.

After the park, i saw just cars and buildings. But today, it didn't rain. The weather is not too cold too. I hope the weather would be just fine when i finally have time for kayak.

Fridays..

Don't you just love Fridays.. It means working half day, it's the penghulu segala hari and also it means Saturday and Sunday are coming..Aaa..my other favourite days..

This week, i couldn't find my Prof anywhere, he's not in his room and he's not even in the Mensa. Wierd. And that means i could not proceed with my work and also akan abiskan masa surf the net. Hehs! Takpe, as long as i tak mkn gaji bute. Note: bukan saje2 punya alasan, i couldn seem to make the laser shoot its beam. Nk operate sendiri rosak lak karang.I dont have the money to byr the ganti rugi.

Hurmm.Weather is a bit COLD! Kena pakai jacket balik semula, or a anorak/windbreaker. It is raining almost everyday. But, i think it nature's own way to water the soil and make the plants and flower subur and bloom sgn sihatnya. Thinking of getting myself a new jacket for this cold weather ( grins) .

Owh..new update. I have finished my practical report.Yeay!! Since i couldnt find my Prof., might as well i write my report kan. Tinggal nk kemaskan sket and beli cover. Hehehe. I guess the CD is working. BUT kena CONSTANTLY listen to the cd at least ONE hour per day. And also, my interest for books is slowing increasing. Vorher hatte ich keine Lust zum lesen (Translation: Before this,I have no interest to read) Note: Broken german,hee hee. I want to share this cd with my family and let them have the benefits from it too.

One more thing in my list to do is the "3-days Apple Fast". It's suppose to detox your system and cleanse it from the toxin that has been accumulating for the past years. I just have to find the perfect timing and also must have strong self discipline. (Come on, you can do it!!!). When i succeed, i'll blog about that too.

Okay then, tgh fikir ni nk balik awal ke nk tunggu je kat sinismpi kol 4. Hee hee (budak suka balik awal, also, didnt spot the teacher pun td)

p/s : the Mexican guy balik sini on 25th May. Hope i can get some of my other work done by that time.

HOLA!!!

It has been quite some time since i last updated my blog.(but no one reads it anyway,hee hee). well, let's see what happened for the past few weeks.

1. I finally hand in my documentation for my student project.(Pat self on the head,YEAY!!). It was such a relief because before this i was like a fugitive, trying to hide from the professor for two months (bad girl). I was in luck because I didnt met him during that time. It took me two months to finish it. Well actually, if really really kira by hours, rasanya..tak smpi 2 minggu pun bole siap. There were times when i feel like doing it and MOST of the time, i just dont. Next report : My First Practical Report. dunno when nk buat pulak.hee hee..

2. Helped my friends survey tickets to go to Italy. I've been there myself, so help a bit. But I do want to go there again someday..Tunggu masa and of kos..MONEY..

3. Because of the "money" thingy, i decided to go to Konstanz instead. Lovely place..and also, sbb i promised my friend that i would visit her. Maybe i'd go to Mainau. Beautiful place with lots of flowers. I just wish that i could bring my parents here someday. Last time tak sempat. And maybe, if i'm lucky, nk pegi kayak.. hee hee. I would be an interesting experience as i havent kayak in a long time. The last time i kayak was when i was in PPP Shah Alam. Now i feel old dah. Hope for some stamina miracle. Hehs!

Aiya..hungry already. Today will eat Riesendampfnudel. It not noodle although i think the pronunciation is the same. Riesen means big and Dampfnudel means yeast dumpling, usually sweet but in some regions of Germany also salty or nk senang, like a big bread or pau, sbb dia kukus mende ni. And also with some vanilla sauce. Nyum nyum..Ok that's it, going to eat.Hee hee.Hungry..Later.
