Hurray!!!!

WE WON!! wuhuuuu!!

There were 4 games for the event. In order to be the champion, we must win all 4.

Najib and Komal were our coach. I must say they did a fantastic job. I was pretty cuak for the first game. It was against the juniors. Before the game my hands goes numb. But once i was in the court, those feelings were replaced by determination to win. We won 11-5. For the second game, it was against the chinese girls + aimi. They were pretty tough and good. Really. I was trying my best to defend and attack. I knew that the girl i was blocking was mad at me, but to me, i was only doing whatever she was doing. I didnt know i can have that much of energy in me. Once, i argued with the referee because the ball was supposed to be out and he didnt see it. Of course, the other team wont say the ball was out because they scored afterwards. After the game ended, i really thougt it was a tie. 3-3 but it was actually 4-2. (The urusetia salah tunjuk score-heh!).

Third game- this team was the strongest. That was what other people say. They had one (or two) national netball player. I was thinking, netball player cannot shoot when they are blocked, or the cannot see- so that was our best way to defend. We ended up with a tie. 3-3. That leaded us to free-throws. Our team went first - me, Fatma and Jana. My ball went in by luck the first time, and Fatma's went it as well. Unlucky Jana was new for the free throw thingy, her ball was a miss. That was 2 point for our team. Then it was the others team turn. Being the national netball player, of koz her ball went in smoothly. So did the second player for the team. Lady luck was on our side and their third ball was a miss. It was still a tie. Second round for the free throw. This time, it must be done one by one, meaning me first then the girl from the other team (Last time, it was by team). My ball went in- phew! And so did hers. Then it was Fatma's turn. It went in nicely and again so did the other team's. Jana's turn. It was a miss and so did the other team's. All the eyes on the court were fixed on us. It was again my turn, I was really really in luck as my third ball went it smoothly. Saat penentu- i was praying under my breath so that her ball will miss. My prayers were answered and her ball missed! WE WON!! After that game i earned respect from the guys and girls as i didnt miss any of the free throws. They also joked that i started a phenomena because after that game, all the guys and even the referee tried shooting free throws. *Grins*

Fourth game. It was pretty rough too. My back was aching and my leg was hurting from the last game. My tigh was hit my someone's knee. Adoi. Penat was the word, and this team had already knew how we play and who to mark. The result was a tie- again. 2-2. It was up to the free throws again. My ball went it, again. Phew!! This time, Fatma's ball was a miss and Jana's ball went it. The score was 2 for our team. The other team also scored 2. It was again my turn. And yes, i didnt miss!! Lucky for us, their ball didnt went in this time. It was victory for us. 4 wins.


My ex-classmate in PPP said " Fadhil, you mmg sharp shooter eh. You didnt miss anything". I was flattered with that comment and really really thankful to God for making that happen.

I watched the video that Tanty took during the game. I did miss a free throw, and that was during the 3rd game. Lucky no one remember that! Hee hee.

It was the first time the girls in my team ever join any of MGSS event (Malaysian German Student Society) and we won. And people noticed who we are. There wont be a next time as me, Fatma and Aida are already in our final year. Another flattering comment during that day- one girl thought we were the super junior's batch! That is 3-4 years younger!! Hee hee. Seronoknya!!

Doing something i like doing and to be recognized because of that. Am feeling really satisfied.
