1 Syawal

My Raya was good. The foods were great! We have superb cooks here and they all have their own specialities. For last three rayas we have only one cook for rendang, and this year,since she's not here yet we had different cooks for different lauks.

Let's see, the rewang started ard 10 pm. The guys kupas bawang and did all the cuttings (all 8 of them.Anak2 teruna rajin ni semua). Chef for rendang ayam - Tanty and Fatma, rendang daging - Komal, lodeh - Najib, sambal sotong - me and it would not be complete if there isnt Fatma's kuah kacang. The nasi himpits and lemangs diuruskan oleh juniors. We really divided all the tasks, from the buyings till the cookings. Hmm we had desserts too. Iqbal's and Shafeez's pudding/agar2 and a really tasty Tiramisu made by Ezaid.



The group photo session was funny. The guys mmg agak gila gambar sket, hee hee. But i guess maybe because they are the majority, tak de la segan sgt nk ambik gmbr depan 3 org akak2 ni kan. They had this one songkok and been taking turns to wear it in the picture.

I really really hope this would be the last Aidilfitri here. Looking fwd to spend it at home. Dad's takbir after maghrib prayers, sisters doing the last minute cleaning , Mom being busy in the kitchen will all the Aunties- cooking the dishes for raya, hanging ketupats..i miss all that.
